Dr P. Vishnu Priya is presently working as Principal at Sri Indu Institute of Pharmacy, Hyderabad, Telangana, India, and is an accomplished academician with over 17 years of distinguished experience in teaching, research and academic administration. She obtained her Bachelor of Pharmacy from Sri Venkateshwara College of Pharmacy, Osmania University, and her Master of Pharmacy in Pharmaceutical Biotechnology from Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University Hyderabad and was awarded the Ph.D. from JNTUH.
Prior to assuming the position of Principal, Dr P. Vishnu Priya served as Assistant Professor and Associate Professor, gaining extensive experience in teaching, research, student mentoring, academic administration, and institutional development. Throughout her academic career, she has made significant contributions to curriculum development, quality enhancement initiatives, and the promotion of research-orientated education.
She has made noteworthy scholarly contributions to the field of pharmaceutical sciences with 54 research publications in reputed National and International journals, 9 published patents, 2 authored books and 2 book chapters to her credit. She has actively participated in more than 50 National and International conferences, workshops, faculty development programmes, seminars, and scientific sessions. Demonstrating her commitment to academic excellence, continuous professional development, and life long learning.
She is a Life Member of the Indian Pharmaceutical Association (IPA) and the Association of Pharmaceutical Teachers of India (APTI). She is also a Registered Pharmacist of Telangana State Pharmacy Council
As Principal, she is committed to fostering academic excellence, strengthening research and innovation, promoting industry–academia collaboration, and creating a student-centric learning environment that prepares competent and ethical pharmacy professionals to address the evolving healthcare needs of society.
